I've always steered clear of dry shampoos, with nightmares of going to school looking like I have a serious case of dandruff always present in the back of my mind. But it seemed no matter where I went Batiste cans were evermore in my line of sight. So upon entering my local Superdrug, and catching sight of a half price offer, I thought I might as well go for it, and I even managed to get rid of all of those coppers that weigh down my purse 24/7! After having a good sniff my little sister and I finally settled on 'lace'. It is supposedly meant to be 'seductive and elegant' but ever since using this on a regular basis I have found no boys coming up to me and taking a good whiff of my hair - so maybe the 'seductive' label isn't really literal. Nonetheless, it does smell simply am-ahh-zing!!
Compared to other Batiste dry shampoos, the packaging is most likely the most sophisticated designed, but it is still the practical can Batiste is known for. On to the smell! This dry shampoo has veered away from the typical fruity smell you associate with Batiste (*que year 7 changing room memories*) Even though the fruity smell has been more 'traditional' for Batiste, I must admit, this more sophisticated and luxurious smell is a great improvement.
I can't really say much more! I may never have been a dry-shampoo goer before but now that has truly changed! It banishes oil, adds a bit of 'oomph' to your hair and spares you the chore that is washing your hair for another day - what's not to love?
Much love, Lauryn x
