Hello there! I hope you've had a lovely weekend off from being back at school, and are finally starting to overcome your monday morning moans. (Only 3 more sleeps until Friday is upon us once again-hooray!) Today I thought I would share a slightly different post with you all, as it is more lifestyle-y, which makes a nice change!
Last weekend, it was my friend Lily's 15th birthday, and the chocaholics we are...well we decided to go out for a bit of chocolate-making fun! We hopped into the car and arrived outside a cute little cottage in Kent, where we were greeted by the lovely Freya and Lisa! Once inside, we washed our hands, popped our aprons on and got to work (aka chocolate designing!) I thought I may as well keep the text nice and short, so I do apologise for a very photo-heavy post!
This chocolate is making my belly rumble, mmm!
Isn't this pick 'n' mix just the cutest?!
At the end of the day we were given all of our goodies in a party bag and little cellophane wrapped parcel! Everything was so thought out and this was a lovely touch!
Here's the little room where we made our willy-wonka creations, the birthday girl looking very happy in particular!
And last but not least, I thought I would show you a few of my favourite little bits I created on the day!
Overall, I had a lovely time at Chocolate raindrops! The ladies there were so lovely, and willing to help us! I was also amazed at the number of things that were planned. We made lollies, funny designs, marshmallow lollies, 'fiorelli' aka the fancy love-heart lolly, 'pizza slabs', cartoon designs (although mind broke on the way home *boohoo*), chocolate covered biscuits and so many more! I don't think Lily could have chosen a better birthday treat, and no matter what your age I think this is perfect to have a good catch up with some close pals, or for your child's birthday party, and I'm already considering making a return visit!
Much love, Lauryn
